How we build our calculators
Every calculator is built on a documented formula or an established public dataset, and is covered by an automated test suite that checks its results against known examples before it goes live. For higher-stakes topics like health and money, we cite the primary source — such as the World Health Organization, the CDC, or the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission — directly on each page, and show when the methodology was last reviewed.
